About the Citation Sovereign+
The Citation Sovereign+ was Textron's super-midsize workhorse before the Latitude and Longitude took over the lineup, combining coast-to-coast range with short-runway access thanks to a high-aspect-ratio wing. It remains common in the pre-owned market and on charter certificates even though it is no longer produced.
Who charters it
Still a common find on charter certificates and worth quoting for clients focused on range and runway flexibility over cabin size; its wide, long cabin and 3,069 nm of range with four passengers punch above its light acquisition cost relative to Latitude/Longitude. Confirm operator age and avionics package, since fleet aircraft span the 2013-2021 production run.

Colorado mountain airports: capable
Has one of the shortest sea-level takeoff field lengths of any midsize-and-up jet (3,530 ft) and is explicitly marketed as able to land at Aspen given its short-field wing design, so ASE and EGE should be routine with normal seasonal caveats. No source directly confirmed TEX operations, but the short-field numbers make it a plausible performer there with real payload cuts on hot days; treat that as unconfirmed.
