Traveler Protection

FlightGuard protects your flight. This protects you. Two layers that never overlap, and we set the second one up for you before you go.

Part of looking after you

The layer most charter clients never hear about

Charter buyers get told a lot about the aircraft and almost nothing about what happens after they step off it. Traveler protection is the gap: medical evacuation, field rescue, and security response for the person, not the plane. It is not something we sell you. It is something we arrange for you, the same way we arrange the ground transport and the catering, because a trip is more than the hours in the air.

Two layers, two different jobs

These are complements, never substitutes. Neither one does the other's job, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling.

Layer one

FlightGuard protects the trip

Included on every quote we send. If a mechanical problem strands your aircraft, FlightGuard handles hotel, meals, and ground transfer during that covered mechanical delay. It is not insurance, and it covers mechanical AOG disruption only. That is the whole job, and it does it well.

Layer two

Traveler protection covers you

Once you have landed, the flight is no longer the risk. A skiing injury in a village with no trauma center, a diagnosis two time zones from your own doctor, unrest that closes an airport: those are traveler problems, and a membership program is what answers them. Medical evacuation, field rescue, and 24/7 security response.

The two programs we work with

Both are strong, and neither is the default. Which one fits comes down to how you travel and what you worry about, which is exactly the conversation we would rather have with you than guess at.

Medical and field rescue

Global Rescue

Built around getting to you where you actually are. Field rescue starts at the point of injury rather than at a hospital door, with no minimum distance from home and no exclusions for the activity you were doing when it happened.

  • Field rescue from the point of injury
  • No minimum distance from home to qualify
  • No activity exclusions
  • Medical membership, with optional security services

Security first

Global Guardian

The choice for travelers who think about personal security before they think about medicine. Duty-of-care grade protection of the kind corporations buy for their executives, with air ambulance membership included and a crisis operations center staffed around the clock.

  • Duty-of-care grade security response
  • Air ambulance membership included
  • 24/7 crisis operations center
  • Individual and family plans

Global Rescue and Global Guardian are optional third-party membership programs. They are not insurance, and they are separate from and complementary to FlightGuard, which covers mechanical AOG disruption on your flight. The Scott Wallace Agency may receive a referral fee if you enroll, and discloses that here. Enrollment, terms, pricing, and all services are provided directly by each program.

How it works

Tell us, and we handle the setup before you fly.

Tell us before you fly

One sentence when we are planning your trip is enough. There is no form to chase and nothing to decide on the spot.

We check what you already have

Corporate travel-risk coverage is more common than people realize. We look for overlap first so you never end up paying for the same protection twice.

We handle the setup

We walk you through which program fits your travel, get you enrolled with them directly, and make sure it is active before your departure date.

Already covered through work? We check first.

If your company already provides travel-risk coverage (International SOS, Crisis24, or a corporate Global Guardian account are the common ones), tell us and we will check for overlap before you enroll in anything. Plenty of executives are already covered and never knew. We would rather find that out for you than have you pay twice.

Mention it when we plan your trip

Traveling somewhere remote, somewhere unfamiliar, or with family along? Say the word and we will get this sorted before you go. If you already have coverage, we will tell you that instead.

Want the safety side of the story too? How we vet every flight.
