Cessna Citation Encore+
Light jet - 7 passengers, 1,792 nm published range
About the Cessna Citation Encore+
The Citation Encore+ is the last and most refined member of Cessna's Model 560 family, pairing the roomy stand-up cabin of the Citation V/Ultra with FADEC-controlled engines and modern Pro Line 21 avionics. It closed out a lineage that ran from 1989 to 2010 and remains one of the most capable light jets of its generation on range and cabin volume.
Who charters it
Charter clients pick the Encore+ for its stand-up cabin and genuinely useful 1,700+ nm range at a value-tier hourly rate, making it a strong fit for coast-to-coast-with-a-stop or Caribbean runs where a smaller CJ-class jet would need a fuel stop.

Colorado mountain airports: capable
The straight-wing Model 560 family has some of the shortest runway requirements in the light-jet class, and the Encore line is marketed on takeoff rolls around 3,500 ft at full weight, keeping ASE and EGE well within reach with normal summer payload trims. TEX is plausible for the type on the same short-field strengths but was not specifically confirmed, so treat it as payload-restricted there on hot days; the fleet is aging (deliveries ended 2010) so charter availability is thinner than for the CJ/Phenom lines.
Planning guidance only. The operator, the AFM performance data, and conditions on the day are the final authority.
