Embraer Legacy 650
Heavy jet - 10 passengers, 3,900 nm published range

About the Embraer Legacy 650
The Legacy 650 is Embraer's large-cabin, heavy-jet derivative of the ERJ-135 regional airliner, offering the largest-in-class three-zone cabin (1,650 cu ft) and a 3,900 nm range. Though no longer in production, it remains one of the most widely operated heavy jets on the charter market, valued for its cavernous cabin and reliability.
Who charters it
The pick for larger groups (up to 13-14 passengers) needing true intercontinental range with a stand-up, three-zone cabin -- popular for full-team charters, roadshows, and long-haul family trips; deep secondary market and broad operator base make it easy to source despite being out of production.

Colorado mountain airports: limited
Its 69.5 ft wingspan clears Aspen's limit and brokers do market it for Aspen, but its long sea-level takeoff roll (about 5,741 ft) leaves little margin at ASE's elevation, so warm-weather departures need significant fuel or payload offloads and the type is an occasional rather than routine ASE performer. EGE is comfortably workable; Telluride is not realistic for this class.
Planning guidance only. The operator, the AFM performance data, and conditions on the day are the final authority.
