About the Gulfstream G600
The Gulfstream G600 is Gulfstream's current-generation large-cabin, ultra-long-range business jet, powered by twin Pratt & Whitney PW815GA engines and flown with the Symmetry Flight Deck. It reaches up to 6,600 nm at a Mach 0.85 long-range cruise, or 5,600 nm at a Mach 0.90 high-speed cruise, with a stand-up cabin configurable into up to four living areas seating up to 19 and sleeping up to 10.
Who charters it
Clients book the G600 for genuine ultra-long-range capability (transcontinental US, US-Europe, and most Pacific-adjacent missions) in a wide, quiet, low-cabin-altitude cabin, at a lower charter rate than the flagship G650/G700 while carrying a large group and full baggage.

Colorado mountain airports: limited
Wingspan is reported at essentially the 95 ft boundary of Aspen's wingspan restriction, and local Aspen news coverage specifically framed the G600 as a plane that tests the airport's size limit, implying tight, scrutinized, case-by-case access rather than routine unrestricted operations. EGE is straightforward and routine for this type; Telluride is not realistic for this weight class.
