About the Gulfstream G500
The G500 is Gulfstream's current-generation, clean-sheet large-cabin jet, built around the Symmetry Flight Deck with active control sidesticks and a cabin with the largest windows in business aviation. It cruises faster than the legacy G550 (Mmo Mach 0.925) while covering 5,300 nm, replacing the G450 in Gulfstream's lineup.

Appeals to clients who want current-production Gulfstream reliability and cabin technology (Symmetry flight deck, low cabin altitude, 14 windows) for transcontinental and most intercontinental missions in a newer, faster, more fuel-efficient airframe than the G550, with a smaller cabin footprint than the ultra-long-range G650/G700.

87 ft 1 in wingspan clears Aspen's limit with margin and its 5,300 ft TOFL is among the best in the Gulfstream large-cabin lineup, putting it in the same general capability class as the G450/G550 for ASE and EGE with normal seasonal/payload caveats. Direct sourcing on actual ASE operating history for this specific type is thinner than for the G450/G550/G650, so confidence here is lower; Telluride is not realistic for this weight class.
