Bombardier Global 5500
Heavy jet - 12 passengers, 5,900 nm published range

About the Bombardier Global 5500
The Bombardier Global 5500 is the entry point into Bombardier's modern Global family, pairing a 5,900 nm range with the Nuage seat, Soleil circadian lighting and 4K cabin technology introduced on the flagship Global 7500. Purpose-built Rolls-Royce Pearl 15 engines cut fuel burn versus the outgoing Global 5000 while adding meaningful range and hot-and-high performance.
Who charters it
Sized for clients who want Global-family cabin comfort and all-weather short-field capability (Aspen, London City, St. Moritz) without paying for the extra cabin length or range of the 6500/7500 -- a strong fit for US-Europe or coast-to-coast trips with 8-12 passengers.

Colorado mountain airports: capable
94 ft wingspan fits inside Aspen's 95 ft restriction and it shares the Global 6000's steep-approach capability, so it is workable at ASE with fuel/payload trimming and routine at EGE. Telluride is reported to see only occasional Global Express class traffic as its largest jet, so any TEX use would be rare rather than routine.
Planning guidance only. The operator, the AFM performance data, and conditions on the day are the final authority.
