US Customs user fee airport. Closed to air carrier operations; this is a general aviation and charter field only. Noise ordinance curfew: propeller aircraft may not conduct repetitive operations between 2200 and 0700 (June 21 to September 15) or 2100 and 0700 (September 16 to June 20). Turbojet and fan powered aircraft are prohibited from repetitive operations at all times. No takeoffs for aircraft exceeding 74 dBA between 2200 and 0700, except military, mercy, and law enforcement flights. Jets are asked to avoid departures and arrivals between 2300 and 0700 to reduce community noise. Landing fees apply; see the ifly VNY website for rates.
Aircraft classes that fit this runway
This compares each aircraft's published takeoff distance against KVNY's longest runway only. It does not account for this field's 802 ft elevation, temperature, or terrain, all of which cut into real performance at density altitude, and several of these are mountain fields where that gap matters. Treat this as a starting point for a conversation with us, never as clearance to fly here.
Takeoff distances are published under differing conditions and are not directly comparable between types. Confirm against the operator and the AFM for a specific aircraft, weight, and day.

Scott Wallace Agency is a licensed air charter broker, not an air carrier: we do not operate aircraft or control this field. Runway, elevation, and airport identifiers are sourced from public FAA/OurAirports data. FBO, customs, and operational notes reflect research current as of the date they were compiled and can change; confirm specifics for your trip when you book.
