Empty Leg Flights
Repositioning flights posted by charter operators, often offered well below standard charter rates. Availability changes daily.
Current Empty Legs
Listed by the operators themselves and updated as they post. Pick a flight to ask about it, or set up an alert for the routes you fly. We answer quote requests within one hour, 7 AM to 10 PM Mountain. Requests that arrive overnight are answered first thing in the morning.
Prices shown are estimates. They exclude federal excise tax (7.5% on US flights) and per-passenger segment fees, and the operator can change or withdraw a leg at any time. Your written quote states the operator, the aircraft and the full price before you book.
What Are Empty Leg Flights?
When an aircraft is chartered one-way, the operator still has to fly it to its next trip or back to base. Operators list those repositioning flights, often well below standard charter rates, rather than fly them empty.
The Same Aircraft
The operator's aircraft and crew fly the leg, exactly as on a full charter.
Their Schedule, Not Yours
The route and timing follow the operator's next trip, so a leg works when your plans can flex.
Checked Before You Fly
We confirm the operator's Part 135 certificate and safety record before you book, the same as any charter we arrange.
Important Information About Empty Legs: Empty legs follow the primary charter's schedule and can change or cancel with little notice. Dates, routes and prices are estimates until confirmed in writing, and every flight is subject to operator availability and safety approval.
Scott Wallace Agency is an air charter broker under 14 CFR Part 295, not an air carrier: we do not operate aircraft. Flights listed here are posted and operated by FAA Part 135 air carriers, which hold operational control, and are shown through FlyEasy.
