About the Falcon 10X

The Falcon 10X is Dassault's in-development flagship, targeting the largest cabin of any purpose-built business jet and a 7,500 nm range that would connect nearly any two cities nonstop. It made its first flight in June 2026 and is not yet certified or in commercial service.

Who charters it

Not yet available for charter. Once certified (targeted 2027), it will compete directly with the Gulfstream G700/G800 and Bombardier Global 8000 at the top of the ultra-long-range market, likely at a charter rate premium above the 8X.

Colorado mountain airports: limited

Unproven in service: the Falcon 10X only began flight testing in 2026 with certification targeted for late 2027, so there is no operating history anywhere, let alone at mountain airports. Its published wingspan of roughly 110 ft is well over Aspen's current 95 ft limit, so ASE access looks unlikely even long term; EGE would be the plausible mountain gateway once in service, and Telluride is not realistic for this class.
